This Amended Determination follows the approval of additional funds, new project team members, new milestones, and an extended period of performance to develop a system approach to eliminate methane emissions from oil and gas flares, vents, and other equipment, in progress under the Reducing Emissions of Methane Every Day of the Year (REMEDY) program. Specifically, the project team will (1) further develop and refine analytical tools for field testing of burner system; (2) conduct pilot testing of burner system; (3) apply analytical models to assess testing results; (4) develop full-scale system for field testing to meet reliability, durability, and emission standards; and (5) identify needed adjustments for future iterations of the system.
