Jeffrey Williams

Jeff Williams serves as the Acting Deputy Chief Human Capital Officer for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). In this position, he is responsible for the full range of human capital services covering DOE's workforce of 13,000 Federal employees. Working with the Chief Human Capital Officer, he sets strategic direction and programmatic priorities for the human capital organization and provides leadership across a myriad of teams responsible for DOE workforce planning, advisory services, hiring, benefits, policy, employee and labor relations, executive resources management, talent management, engagement, human resources information technology, and accountability. He provides oversight to shared service centers supporting DOE Headquarters, national program offices, and power administrations. Jeff has over 30 years of Federal service and has been with the Department of Energy since 2009.  Jeff has served in various senior leadership positions within Human Capital to include four Shared Service Centers (SSCs) and the Office of Business Operations.
