PF 2025-15 Issuance of Class Deviation to the Department of Energy’s Mentor Protégé Program at Department of Energy Acquisition Regulation (DEAR) 919.70
SUMMARY: This Policy Flash notifies the Department of Energy (DOE) acquisition workforce of the issuance of a revised class deviation to DOE’s Mentor-Protégé Program. The revised class deviation updates various aspects of the Program, including clarifying the eligibility criteria by adding a preference for socioeconomic small business categories for protégés, adding term limitations for Mentor-Protégé Program agreements, providing details regarding the Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization’s (OSDBU) criteria for evaluating and assessing proposed Mentor-Protégé Program agreements, and makes other necessary administrative changes.
