The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Loan Programs Office (LPO) issued a draft Environmental Assessment and draft Finding of No Significant Impact for Maxeon Golden Eagle (DOE/EA-2245), which assesses the potential environmental impacts of providing potential financial assistance (a federal loan guarantee) to support the construction and operation of a new photovoltaic (solar) cell fabrication and panel assembly facility (Golden Eagle project) in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
