The Department of Energy is proposing to provide funding to the National Community Action Partnership (NCAP). This proposed project would increase the size and impact of the federal Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) through partnerships that bring supplemental resources to WAP organizations and projects. Specifically, the project would help WAP organizations identify and connect with potential partners, such as State Energy Offices and Regional Energy Efficiency Organizations, as well as renewable energy initiatives and healthy home initiatives funded by federal, state, or local governments or non-governmental funders.
