On June 14, 2023, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Enterprise Assessments’ Office of Enforcement issued Enforcement Letter (WEL-2023-01) to Honeywell Federal Manufacturing & Technologies, LLC for deficiencies in implementing DOE’s worker safety and health program requirements (10 C.F.R. Part 851) associated with heat stress requirements and unsafe conditions at the Kansas City National Security Campus.
