Bridget Carper Arnone serves as the Deputy Chief Information Officer (DCIO) for Architecture, Engineering, Technology, and Innovation within the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE’s) Office of the Chief Information Officer. In this role, she leads enterprise-wide digital transformation efforts by advancing technology modernization and innovation to strengthen mission delivery and operational performance, with integrated oversight of artificial intelligence (AI), data, geospatial, enterprise architecture, and spectrum management initiatives in both domestic and international forums.
Guided by a commitment to strengthening DOE’s processes and systems, Bridget’s portfolio includes spearheading the establishment of DOE’s AI Hub and leading the successful scaling of Joulix, a generative AI tool suite, across the agency to drive efficiencies and cost savings; launching Quanta, an enterprise data platform to improve data discoverability, availability, usability, and quality; and guiding the development and execution of DOE’s technology roadmap to align modernization efforts with organizational goals.
Additionally, Bridget was appointed to the Technology Modernization Fund Board in August 2025, where she contributes her expertise to guide strategic technology investments across the federal government to improve digital services and operational efficiency for the American public.
