DOE ordered Cooltech Refrigeration, Inc. (Cooltech) to pay a $3,000 civil penalty after Cooltech had manufactured and distributed in commerce in the U.S. multiple units of the noncompliant Cooltech commercial refrigerators' basic model # CMPH-38SG. The Order adopted a Compromise Agreement, which reflected settlement terms between DOE and Cooltech.
