2022–2023 AlgaePrize Competition Team: Pond Doctors

Pond Doctors is working on developing and testing a tool that measures nitrogen stress of microalgae in near real-time, specifically diatoms which are a group of ecologically and industrially relevant microalgae. Limiting nitrogen in microalgal crops leads the microalgae to accumulate fatty acids that are direct percussors to algal biofuels.
