The Department of Energy's (DOE) Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) just announced four new opportunities for technical experts to join the Industrial Efficiency and Decarbonization Office (IEDO) to help decarbonize America's industrial sector. Technical Project Officers (GS-13) (2 open positions)

IEDO is hiring two Technical Project Officers (TPO) to join our office. They are responsible for helping to negotiate the technical scope and budgets of IEDO-funded projects.

Energy- and Emissions Intensive Industries Sr. Technology Manager (GS-15)

IEDO is hiring a new Energy- and Emissions-Intensive Industries Technology Manager. This senior technology manager will serve as a subject matter expert in industrial technologies and the development and implementation of Industrial Decarbonization activities to improve the research, development, commercialization, and adoption of these technologies in the United States.

Technical Assistance and Workforce Development Technology Manager (GS-14)

IEDO is hiring a new Technical Assistance and Workforce Development Technology Manager. The new technology manager will be responsible for designing and leading a portfolio of technical assistance programs that engage manufacturers and their partners in deploying technologies that support industrial efficiency and decarbonization.

IEDO is also seeking candidates for the following positions:

Cross Sector Technologies Technology Manager (GS-13 and GS-14) (2 open positions)

These technology managers will serve as subject matter experts in the development and implementation of process heating technologies and systems activities and low carbon fuels and feedstocks respectively to improve the research, development, commercialization, and adoption of these technologies in the United States.

Energy- and Emissions-Intensive Industries Technology Manager (GS-14)

This technology manager will serve as a subject matter expert in the development and implementation of industry-specific efficiency and decarbonization activities to improve the research, development, commercialization, and adoption of these technologies in the United States.
