Construction Safety – July 13, 2021 (CRAD 32-10, Rev. 0)

The review of Construction Safety assesses the effectiveness of programs and processes for ensuring the safety and health of workers during construction work. Additionally, assessments can include an evaluation of the DOE field element’s process to assess the adequacy of procedures and implementation of the contractor’s construction safety program. The review will also evaluate the effectiveness of flowing down DOE regulatory and contract requirements from prime DOE contractors to all levels of sub tier contractors and the effectiveness of implementation of requirements by all levels of sub tier contractors.
