The United States Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Legacy Management (LM) proposes to reclaim subsidence features associated with the New G-3 Mine Site and G-3 Shaft Mine. Independent contractors associated with Energy Fuels Resources, the leaseholder, would complete all work in an estimated day. The subsidence features are considered a public safety concern. This lease tract is on Outlaw Mesa, along the southern flank of the Uncompahgre Plateau in southwestern Mesa County. Workers would access the site on existing dirt track roads.
