The Maine Tidal Power Initiative would develop baseline resource and environmental data for the Cobscook Bay and Western Passage in Maine to evaluate the approach for future tidal power applications. A Department of Energy (DOE) determination was completed June 15, 2010 authorizing the majority of this project. At this time, the DOE is now re-evaluating net sampling for fish into 2011 (Task 2).
