DOE funding will be passed through from the state of Maine to Verso paper. Verso paper would retrofit an existing solid fuel boiler to allow for burning a higher percentage of wood chips, installation of a new 15 megawatt (MW) Steam Turbine Generator (STG), and modification of fuel storage area to handle additional volume.
