Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant Program. 1) Acquisition of technical services for development of an energy efficiency and conservation strategy (completed), 2) energy efficiency retrofit for the Law Enforcement Center (15 years old), County Courthouse (104 years old), and the Emergency Management building (50 years old), 3) employment of a limited-term appointment, part-time Cumberland County Regional Energy Coordinator, 4) upgrade two buses to fuel hybrid, 5) support employment of a part-time Community Bike Coordinator for the Bicycle Coalition of Maine, and 6) acquisition of technical services to develop a biomass cogeneration facility feasibility study.
