This is a Congressionally Directed Project with funding that will be used in conjunction to Oregon State University's 2009 Congressionally Directed Project (DE-EE0000279) and their 2008 competitive award for the Northwest National Marine Renewable Energy Center (NNMREC). This project will further the development of the NNMREC facility. The project will focus on planning the development of start-up and operational procedures, continued community engagement and education, and additional environmental studies around the proposed Mobile Ocean Test Berth site.
