Sandia National Laboratories/New Mexico (SNL/NM) proposes to purchase 84, five-inch rocket motors, from Cesaroni Technology, Inc. (CTI). Sandia would test-fire approximately 16 of the motors to characterize performance. Nine of the 84 motors ordered would be tested offsite; eight of these motors would be tested at the manufacturer's Gormley, Ontario facility; one rocket would be tested at the Energetic Materials Research and Testing Center, in Socorro, New Mexico. The remaining rocket motors would be stored in inventory.
