The proposed actions will install two solar powered fire station warning signals, wiring, and controllers. The work is located in highly disturbed, gravel covered, vegetation-free areas along the road shoulder right-of-way on Hanford Route 3 between 200 East and 200 West Areas. Work includes, but is not limited to, locating utilities using hand methods; excavating for concrete signal footings; installing signals, including pedestal poles, brackets, electrical cabinets, antenna, and solar panels; backfilling excavations; installing an electrical cabinet with receiver, transmitter, and antenna for the remote electrical conduit and wiring; restoring construction, lay down, and storage areas to pre-construction conditions; and removing, recycling, and disposing of construction debris.
