Wisconsin's Office of Energy Independence would pass Department of Energy (DOE) funding to ZBB, Inc. ZBB, Inc. is a public corporation headquartered in Menomonie Falls, Wisconsin. ZBB, Inc. would use a $1.3 million State Energy Program loan to purchase the following equipment for their facility: two friction welders, storage shelves, workbenches, and computers. ZBB, Inc. would also use DOE funding for: working capital, receivables, payroll and inventory. Inventory would consist of parts and materials for the storage devices (batteries).
