CX-016891: Austin Hot Springs Conservation Area Property Land Acquisition and Stewardship Funding

Bonneville Power Administration is proposing to fund McKenzie River Trust to purchase a conservation easement on the Cerro Gordo property, a 532-acre parcel of land located 4 miles east of Cottage Grove in Lane County, Oregon. Bonneville Power Administration would hold a conservation easement to prevent the conversion of fish and wildlife habitat on the property to other land uses. Bonneville Power Administration would also provide stewardship funds toward maintenance of the property to the landowner, McKenzie River Trust.
