Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant Program. The proposed action would involve the completion of an Energy Efficiency Conservation Strategy and Tribal Energy Plan which would outline a plan of action for achieving sound energy practices throughout the tribe. The plan would document and/or address the correct actions to implement in order to support the future energy endeavors of its tribal facilities. The Tribal Energy Plan will explore all associated energy usages and cost factors, as well as assist tribal membership with cost-saving energy practices, source reduction methods, emissions reductions, and will educate the organization on appropriate alternative energy installations. Technical specialists will be contracted to assist in the development of the Plan. When completed, the Plan will be distributed throughout the tribe for comment and approval from the tribal council.
