Summary
Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) prepared an EA that analyzes the potential environmental impacts of the proposed capture, reconditioning, and release of post-spawn Snake River steelhead; construction of a reconditioning facility within the Nez Perce Tribal Fish Hatchery near Lewiston, Idaho; ongoing hatchery operations for the production of 825,000 spring/summer and 1,400,000 fall Chinook salmon; and replacement of two surface water pumps to serve the hatchery. BPA’s proposed action is to fund the proposal.
