The Department of Energy proposed action is to issue a loan guarantee to 1366 Technologies for Project Eagle, which includes retrofitting and re‐equipping two existing facilities to produce standard multicrystalline silicon wafers for solar cells using 1366's proprietary Direct Wafer manufacturing process.
