Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant Program. The proposed action would involve the provision of high-efficiency lighting on the main thoroughfare in Stone Lake, which connects a number of tribal facilities and is referred to as "Everybody's Road." Funds would be used to cover the additional incremental cost of installing energy-efficient lighting instead of the conventional 180-watt metal halide fixtures in the original plan for lighting the road, Two energy-efficient lighting options would be assessed: 1) LED (light-emitting diode) 55-watt or 80-watt energy efficiency lighting or 2) Stand alone solar fixtures.
