To facilitate disposal of unusable tuff tanks with a rad use history, Spent Fuel Projects personnel will absorb any residual water contained in tuff tanks, separate the plastic liner from the metal framework and dispose of the plastic liner as low-level waste and the metal frame as clean waste.
