Due to recent break-ins at their Tacoma Pump Station, the Olympic Pipeline Company has requested permission to replace two sections of existing barbed wire fence that tie into the Olympic entrance gate and that run parallel to 180th Street along the northern property line for the Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) South Tacoma Substation parcel. Olympic would replace the existing barbed wire fencing, owned by BPA, with 6-foot galvanized chain link fencing on either side of the existing entrance gate. The total project consists of installation of 150 feet of chain link fencing in a previously disturbed area.
