This Project is part of a continuing effort by BPA to complete a regionwide upgrade of its existing telecommunications system. The U. S. Forest Service and BPA jointly prepared the Grizzly Substation Fiber Optic Project Environmental Assessment (EA) (DOEIEA-1241) evaluating the potential environmental impacts of the Proposed Action, the Underground Installation Alternative, and the No Action Alternative.
