EA-1573: The Renewable Fuels Heating Plant at NREL’s South Table Mountain Site

Three Site Development Projects at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory South Table Mountain Site, Colorado

DOE proposes to construct and operate three site development projects at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory’s (NREL) South Table Mountain (STM) site: A Renewable Fuel Heating Plant (RFHP) that would use woodwaste as its primary fuel; Various solar technology advancement installations, collectively called SolarTAC; A Mesa Top Photovoltaic Project (MTPP) that would generate about 1.0 megawatt (MW) of solar energy for use at the STM site. This EA was supplemented by EA-1573-S1.
