Bonneville Power Administration is preparing an EA that analyzes the potential environmental impacts of a proposal by the Kootenai Tribe of Idaho to support recovery efforts for the endangered Kootenai River white sturgeon and address the needs of other native fish stocks in the Kootenai River. The proposal would restore fish habitat by enhancing islands and side channels and restoring streambanks.
