KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – EM's next quarterly public forum to discuss upcoming business opportunities in the legacy nuclear cleanup program is set for Thurs., Oct. 13 during the Energy, Technology and Environmental Business Association's (ETEBA's) annual Business Opportunities Conference in Knoxville, Tenn.

   EM's Business Opportunity Forum will take place from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time at the Knoxville Convention Center.

   EM's Acting Acquisition and Project Management Associate Deputy Assistant Secretary Norbert Doyle will lead the forum discussion. Organized by EM’s Office of Acquisition and Contract Management, this outreach event gives companies the chance to learn the latest news on doing business with EM and participate in dialogue about the program’s business opportunities.

   There is no charge to attend the forum. Pre-registration is required by providing your name, title and company name to EM’s Carol Ward via e-mail at carol.ward@em.doe.gov by Tues., Oct. 11. Registering for EM's forum does not provide access to the presentations and activities of ETEBA's conference, which is from Oct. 11-13. To participate in ETEBA's conference, please register separately.   

   Participants can join the EM forum online through a web conferencing tool. More information is available by pre-registering with Ward.
