The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is proposing to provide federal funding to GW Solar Institute to build a breakthrough online Solar Knowledge Library, made up of video-based education modules which can be used to train and educate the full spectrum of STEP’s diverse target audiences. GW Institute would leverage unique knowledge of solar energy issues, and connections with solar industry stakeholders, to produce, categorize, and disseminate a wide range of education and training materials.
Activities associated with the proposed project would include compilation of previously recorded podcasts, youtube videos, etc. to create educational videos. The proposed project would be limited exclusively to intellectual, academic, or analytical activities and would use no physical materials beyond basic office supplies and software.
