Western Area Power Administration proposes to approve a new Point of Delivery (POD) request. Western received a request from Tri-State Generation and Transmission Association, Inc. for the new POD on Western's Transmission system. The new POD will require the construction of a tap on Western's Frenchman Creek-Wauneta 115-kilovolt (kV) transmission line to an existing Tri-State 115-kV transmission line to serve a 6 megawatt load referred to as Sheridan Hill.
