Algae is causing an elevated pH in the H-Area Retention Basin (HRB) during the summer months. SRR is planning to control algae growth at the Effluent Treatment Project (ETP) Facility, HRB, 281-8H, by adding a biological digester to remove organic matter in the basin and deploy a floating cover to block sunlight.
