The National Association of State Energy Officials (NASEO) this week announced a request for proposals from State Energy Offices to commit to a 12-18 month state-led process to develop an electric system modernization roadmap that seeks to address a growing range of interdependent, emerging electricity system and energy market issues. The request is a part of NASEO’s Energy Markets and Planning (E-MAP) Program, which is supported by the Office of Electricity Delivery and Energy Reliability. The E-MAP Program is designed to help states develop holistic approaches to advancing the electricity system and related energy infrastructure modernization, resilience, and affordability.
