Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) is proposing to control undesirable vegetation in a segment of the Hanford-Ostrander transmission line corridor and in a segment of the North Bonneville-Midway corridor. BPA, in cooperation with the U.S. Forest Service has prepared an Environmental Assessment evaluating the potential environmental effects of existing practices, and the proposed action.
The Department of Energy (DOE) has prepared a Programmatic Environmental Assessment (PEA) to assess the environmental impacts associated with the State Energy Conservation Program (SECP). Based on the analysis provided in the PEA, DOE has determined that the proposed action does not constitute a major Federal action significantly affecting the quality of the human environment within the meaning of the National Environmental Policy Act.
