Summary
DOE prepared this environmental assessment to evaluate the potential environmental impacts of construction and operation of a cellulosic ethanol production plant in the Treutlen County Industrial Park near Soperton by Range Fuels.
After issuing this EA and FONSI, DOE determined that changes to the design and planned operation of the facility warranted a supplemental EA to assess the potential environmental impacts of the changes. This October 2007 EA was incorporated by reference into the supplemental EA.
