Pettit Lake Creek Weir Construction; Sawtooth National Forest, Blaine County, Idaho

The U.S. Forest Service (USFS) Sawtooth National Recreation Area, with Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) as a cooperating agency, prepared an EA that evaluates the potential effects of USFS authorizing and BPA funding the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes of Fort Hall to construct a weir fish trap on Pettit Lake Creek, in the Sawtooth Valley (Blaine County, Idaho). The EA also evaluates the effects of issuing a 20-year USFS special use permit to the Tribes for the continued operation and maintenance of the constructed weir fish trap.  BPA adopted the EA as DOE/EA-2140 and issued a finding of no significant impact and mitigation action plan.
