Summary
DOE/EA-2293 evaluates the potential environmental effects of modifying certain Movable Modular Liquefaction System (MMLS) Dehydration and Heavies Removal units within the existing Elba Island liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal in Chatham County, Georgia.
This EA was prepared by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), with DOE as a cooperating agency. DOE, Office of Fossil Energy, has an obligation under Section 3 of the Natural Gas Act to authorize the import and export of natural gas, including LNG, unless it finds that the import or export is not consistent with the public interest.
Additional documents on this project can be obtained from the FERC eLibrary (http://elibrary.ferc.gov) by a “General Search” using docket number CP23-375.
