Summary
Silver Queen Wind Farm, LLC (Silver Queen) proposes to construct a 252-megawatt (MW) wind farm generating facility that includes up to 77 turbines and associated pads. The Project would interconnect with Western Area Power Administration’s (WAPA) electrical transmission system at WAPA’s existing Denison Substation south of Denison, Iowa. The EA will be tiered to the WAPA and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service 2015 Upper Great Plains Wind Energy Programmatic Environmental Impact Statement (DOE/EIS-0408).
