The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Loan Programs Office (LPO) has re-published an Environmental Assessment (EA) prepared to support a prior Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) hydropower license amendment process, and has issued a signed Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI).
DOE's Finding of No Significant Impact should not be construed as a final decision about the issuance of a loan guarantee.
