The scope of the Bettis Laboratory North Campus Stormwater Project is to support the existing stormwater utility servicing the North Campus area which has met the system’s service life. This North Campus stormwater network currently discharges into the Outfall 008 detention basin. With the previous demolition of the CAM Buildings, the upcoming demolition of the CX Building, and the grading proposed as part of the North Campus Conceptual Development plan, the existing storm infrastructure will need to be replaced during the future development of the North Campus. The proposed North Campus Stormwater Project includes a new storm trunk line that will connect existing storm conveyance facilities to storm structures that were recently installed as part of the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Outfall 008 detention basin project.
