This Amended Determination follows the approval of additional funding, an extended period of performance, and new project milestones to support the project team's small-scale research and development activities of an autonomous laboratory platform, "AlloyBot," intended to develop new structural alloys for energy and propulsion technologies with extreme operating conditions. Specifically, the project team will (1) finalize full AlloyBot system and processes, and test and validate full platform operation, and (2) conduct a techno-economic analysis and life cycle assessment for next phase development.
