CX-270903: South Monroeville Distribution Substation (DS) to Monroeville Transmission Maintenance Crew Headquarters (TMC HQ) Under Ground Fiber Optics

The United States Department of Energy (DOE), Office of Energy Dominance Financing (EDF), may provide loan guarantees for energy infrastructure projects under Section 1706 of Title XVII of the Energy Policy Act of 2005, as amended by the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022 (42 U.S.C. 16517) and the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (Pub. L. No. 119-21, 139 Stat. 72 (July 4, 2025)) (the Energy Dominance Financing or EDF Program).

The United States Department of Energy (DOE), Office of Energy Dominance Financing (EDF), may provide loan guarantees for energy infrastructure projects under Section 1706 of Title XVII of the Energy Policy Act of 2005, as amended by the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022 (42 U.S.C. 16517) and the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (Pub. L. No. 119-21, 139 Stat. 72 (July 4, 2025)) (the Energy Dominance Financing or EDF Program). The Project is located just south of the city of Monroeville, Alabama and includes the installation of approximately 5 miles of fiber optic cable (approximately 26,000 linear feet) within existing public roadside utility rights-of-way (ROW) and Alabama Power Company (APC) transmissions ROW, beginning at the South Monroeville Distribution Substation (DS) and ending at the Monroeville TMC Crew HQ.
