July 24, 2017The University of Missouri proposes to acquire experimental data on fission product (FP) (non-radioactive) diffusion, and transport parameters in graphites for conditions of interest (very high temperatures, and also oxidized and radiation-damaged graphite-as available) and compare the results with those available for radioactive FPs as available from elsewhere. Additionally, the project will acquire new data for retention (adsorption) of FPs (non-radioactive) and their mixtures on graphites for conditions of interest and compare them with results from irradiated graphites and radioactive FP as available from elsewhere.
