The proposed action will install face velocity monitors on fume hoods within the Advanced Test Reactor (ATR; building TRA-670) to verify compliance with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 45 and Idaho National Laboratory (INL) laboratory wide procedures. The monitors consist of two main components, a flow detection probe mounted in the fume hood air exhaust and a 24V sensor module to convert the probe input to a local display and provide alarms. A 24V power supply will be added to a 120V circuit on each hood to provide 24VAC power to the sensor module and touch screen display.
