Security modifications are needed for certain facilities at the Materials and Fuels Complex (MFC). The proposed action is to perform the following modifications: install Entry Control Facility to serve as an access point; install alarmed security fence with double swing gates around the perimeter of the building; install roof railing; install alarmed window coverings on window frames; install stairwell enclosures (e.g., cages or vertical [non-climbable]) bar structures; install secure ladders 10-12 feet up from the ground on exterior ladders; install barrier systems three points around the building; install BMS/Card readers, curtain alarms, roof motion alarms, mag locks, shooting ports; and upgrade security doors.
