The proposed action would remove the west overhead door from the ESL C-Wing, Room C100 to provide additional interior floor space. The opening (~20 feet wide X 25 feet high) would be filled-in with the same concrete block material that is currently in the building. There is concrete footing under the door opening; therefore no excavation is required for this modification. Steel dowels would tie the new wall to the exterior wall and footing. The project is expected to be completed during March and April of 2016 at an estimated cost of $20,000.
