The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is proposing to provide funding to the State of Mississippi- Development Authority, Energy & Natural Resources to support the Mississippi Industrial Energy Efficiency Program (MIEEP). MIEEP provides grants to Mississippi companies to make energy efficient upgrades that reduce energy consumption and operating costs. Proposals from Mississippi companies were competitively selected and would receive grants to fund up to 50% of total proposed project costs, not to exceed $50,000.
