The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is proposing to provide federal funding to Rutgers University to manage the 28 Industrial Assessment Centers (IAC) through a portfolio of activities under policy guidelines established by DOE. The IAC’s are located at universities around the country and conduct energy audits to identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce waste, and save energy for small to medium sized manufacturers.
