The Department of Energy is proposing to provide funding to the state of Indiana to improve energy efficiency at the Wastewater Treatment facility for the town of Nashville.
The proposed project would install variable drive frequency motors on the aeration basin. To install the new motors, new electrical wiring would be required between the aeration basin and the blower building. All new electrical wiring would be in a new conduit on previously disturbed areas of the facility between the aeration basin and the blower building. Monitoring probes will also be installed in the aerated lagoon.
